Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Plyko mobile application (“the App”), operated by a French sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel / micro-entreprise) trading under the commercial name “Plyko”. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Plyko. By creating an account, you confirm you meet that age and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. You are responsible for any activity on your account. Notify us immediately at contact@plyko.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Subscription and trial
Plyko Pro is a paid subscription. A 14-day free trial is offered to new users with reduced quotas (30% of Pro caps). Once the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the price displayed at checkout, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time via your platform's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google. We are not the seller of record and cannot issue refunds directly.
4. AI features and quotas
The AI features (Recipes, Plate Scan, Fridge Scan, AI Coach) are capped per month per user, as displayed in the App and on this site. We reserve the right to adjust quotas in case of evolving model costs or sustained abuse. Material reductions will be communicated in advance.
AI outputs are generated by third-party large language models and may contain errors. They are provided for informational and motivational purposes only. Always exercise common sense, and consult a registered professional for medical, dietary or training advice that requires individual judgement.
5. Health disclaimer
Plyko is not a medical device. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice. Consult a doctor or licensed healthcare provider before starting any new diet, training program, or making changes to your medication or treatment.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code,
- resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the App,
- use the App to harass others or share illegal content,
- attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, or pay-walls; doing so may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, code, trademarks (including the name “Plyko”) and content are owned by Plyko. You retain ownership of the data you create (workouts, meals, etc.); you grant us a limited license to host and process this data solely to provide the service.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing contact@plyko.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Plyko is provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after that constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of France, except where consumer protection law grants you an alternative forum.
