Ongoing updates
- Fixed
Machine brands survive a cloud restore
After you restore your account, a machine brand you had already added to a machine shows up in the brand picker again. You no longer have to re-create it.
- New
Neck muscles on the body map
Added a Neck muscle group with five neck exercises that now light up the neck area on your body muscle map.
- Improved
Recent workouts show your full last 7 days
The Recent section on the Workout tab now lists every session from the past seven days, not just your last five.
- Improved
Redesigned tutorial as a guided tour
The intro tutorial is now an animated guided tour that walks you through every tab, introducing each screen and pointing out its key parts. You can replay it anytime from your profile.
- Design
Cleaner subscription plan card
Tidied the annual plan on the subscription screen so the price sits neatly to the right and the savings badge no longer crowds it.
- Fixed
Apple Health sleep is now easier to fix
If your Apple Health sleep is not showing, a new 'Sleep not showing?' option re-checks permissions, imports what it finds, and walks you through the fix. We also stopped recording a false '0h' night when there is nothing to read.
- Fixed
No more phantom workout notifications
Rest-timer and inactivity reminders no longer fire after a workout has finished, been cancelled, or is no longer running.
- Fixed
Onboarding no longer loops on the plan step
Fixed a loop where the workout-plan step during setup could restart onboarding. The 'later' option there is now a bigger, clearly tappable button that stays available even after you back out of the paywall.
- Fixed
Reliable account deletion
Deleting your account now works dependably. You confirm by typing a word first in a cleaner dialog, and any problem shows a friendly message instead of a raw error.
- New
Create a template from the Workout tab
Your templates now always show on the Workout tab, led by a 'Create a template' card that opens a dedicated flow for building one, separate from starting a session.
- Improved
Template names are now unique
Creating or renaming a template to a name you already use replaces the old one instead of leaving duplicates, and matching ignores capitalization.
- Improved
Undo an accidentally discarded workout
Trashed an in-progress workout by mistake? You can now undo it with a tap.
- Fixed
Adductors light up their own muscle zone
Inner-thigh (adductor) exercises now highlight their own area on the body muscle map instead of the quads, and the Volume/Recovery toggle no longer gets cut off on smaller screens.
- Improved
Shared routine changes reach your friends
When you delete a routine you shared, it now disappears for your friends too. You can also hide any routine a friend shared that you would rather not see.
- Fixed
Cleaner imports of shared routines
Importing a friend's shared routine or plan no longer brings in their gym's machine-brand labels as junk custom exercises. It keeps the movement, along with any single-side or stance choice, and drops the brand.
- New
Add notes to your workouts
Jot a free-text note on any finished session from the summary screen, then read or edit it later from your history.
- New
Micronutrients for your custom foods
Custom foods can now include 10 micronutrients per 100g, entered by hand or pulled from a label scan, feeding your micronutrient breakdown.
- New
Reorder exercises during a workout
Rearrange your exercises mid-session. Tap the handle to enter reorder mode, or press and hold an exercise to pick it up and drag it into place.
- Improved
Silence the rest-timer bell
A new Training setting lets you turn off the in-app rest-timer bell sound while keeping vibration and notifications.
- Improved
Better workout share card
The share card now fits all your exercises by splitting across pages, offers a Normal or Compact layout, and shows durations like '1h 22m'.
- New
Advanced set types
Log myo-reps, rest-pause, and AMRAP sets.
- New
Free AI starter program during setup
New members get a free two-week, AI-built starter program in onboarding to get going right away.
- New
Global search
Search the whole app from one spot to jump to exercises, foods, and screens.
- New
Log several meals by typing them
Enter multiple meals at once in plain language and let the AI sort out the details.
- New
Micronutrient breakdown
See your micronutrient intake as a percentage of your daily targets (Pro).
- New
Muscle recovery heatmap
See how recovered each muscle group is at a glance, so you know what is ready to train again.
- New
Narrated goal forecast
See a plain-language forecast of when you will reach your goal at your current pace.
- New
Notifications hub

- New
Plateau detection
Plyko now flags when one of your lifts has stalled so you can adjust.
- Improved
Accessibility improvements
Added screen-reader labels and other accessibility refinements throughout the app.
- Improved
Richer AI nutrition results
Every AI nutrition feature, from plate scan to recipes, fridge scan, voice logging and meal plans, now reports the full macros (fiber, sugar, salt) plus 10 micronutrients.
- Fixed
Clearer recovery colors
On the recovery view, green now correctly means fully recovered, and side-delt recovery reads accurately.
- New
Body-measurement reminder
Opt in to a gentle reminder to take your body measurements.
- New
Home-screen quick actions
Press and hold the Plyko icon for shortcuts to jump straight into common tasks.
- New
Keep the screen awake during workouts
Your screen now stays on while you train, so it will not dim between sets.
- New
Weight trend line
Your weight chart now draws a trend line so you can see the real direction through the daily ups and downs.
- Improved
Choose which day your week starts
Set your week to begin on the day you prefer.
- Improved
Undo deleting a routine
Deleting a routine can now be undone if you change your mind.
- New
Calories-burned breakdown
Tap your calories burned to see exactly where the number comes from, along with your history.
- New
Turn any program into your own plan
Start a curated program like StrongLifts 5x5 or PPL, choose how many weeks it runs and exactly which days you train, and it becomes a fully editable multi-week plan you can schedule, track, export, share and improve with AI.
- Improved
A rest-timer bell you can actually hear
When your rest ends, Plyko briefly lowers your music and rings a clear bell, and it now rings on the lock screen or in another app instead of a faint ding.
- Improved
Fiber tracked by every AI food tool
Plate scan, AI recipes and fridge scan now estimate dietary fiber, which voice and label scan already did. Your daily fiber total and goal now fill in automatically.
- Improved
More control over AI-built plans
The AI coach can now prescribe single-side (one-arm or one-leg) exercises when it helps your left/right balance, in both single sessions and multi-week plans. You can also switch supersets off so every block is a single exercise, handy for a busy gym or home setup.
- Improved
Programs sorted by difficulty
The programs library is now grouped Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, so you can scan straight to what fits you.
- Improved
Swap exercises while building plans
The same-muscle swap that already worked mid-workout is now on every exercise in the plan editor and routine builder, and it keeps your sets and reps.
- Fixed
Accurate calories burned
Fixed calories burned being over-counted when several health sources are connected, such as a watch syncing to Apple Health. Plyko now uses your main source instead of adding them together.
- Fixed
AI coach uses your full exercise library
The AI coach and plan generator could skip the most recently added exercises. They now draw on every exercise in the catalogue.
- Fixed
No accidental paywall for Pro members
Opening a Pro AI feature right after launching the app no longer wrongly shows the upgrade screen to active subscribers.
- Fixed
Share your workout to other apps
Fixed sharing your workout card to WhatsApp and other apps. It now sends as an image that goes through properly.
- New
Calories burned in the session summary
The workout detail now shows calories burned right in its summary.
- Improved
Connect health and import during onboarding
Setup now includes steps to connect your health data and import from another app.
- Improved
Log food in grams
The portion picker and barcode scan now open on grams and drop the confusing 'portion' unit.
- Fixed
Fixed a data-loss bug and a broken screen
Resolved an issue that could lose data, a screen that would not open, and some incorrect plan names.
- Fixed
History no longer hidden behind the footer
The last item on a history screen is no longer cut off by the bottom bar.
- New
Weekly review every Sunday
Each Sunday, get a recap across your workouts, nutrition, weight, sleep, water, steps, and goals, each with progress versus your targets and last week, plus a consistency score and an AI coach's note (Pro). Reopen it anytime from your profile.
- New
Build a full multi-week plan with AI
Answer a short questionnaire covering your goal, training days, length, split, equipment and level, and the AI coach writes a complete program straight into your Plans. Pro feature, three plans a month.
- New
Improve any plan with AI
Every plan now has an 'Improve with AI' option: describe a change like 'swap the leg press for hack squats' or 'add an arm day' and the coach updates it, even on plans you made by hand.
- New
Swap an exercise mid-workout
During a workout, an exercise's menu now offers 'Swap exercise' with same-muscle alternatives, and the replacement keeps the sets and reps you'd planned.
- New
Today's session on the Workout tab
Your active plan's workout for today now shows right at the top of the Workout tab. One tap starts it and it checks off once you're done.
- New
18 new exercises
Kettlebell curls, handstand push-up, wall sit, reverse Nordic, dumbbell and kettlebell thrusters, an Ab Coaster and more, each with an illustration and form cues in every language.
- Improved
Clearer exercise names
The 'Overhead Press' family is now 'Shoulder Press', with explicit Standing and Seated versions so it's obvious which is which. Everything you've already logged carries over automatically.
- Fixed
One-side toggle only where it fits
Naturally single-sided moves like lunges and single-leg work, and core holds like planks and crunches, no longer offer the one-side-at-a-time toggle that never applied to them.
- New
Kitchen equipment for smarter AI recipes
Tell Plyko which appliances you own, from oven to air fryer to blender, and AI recipes and meal plans will only suggest dishes you can actually cook.
- Improved
Move logged history to a machine brand
Reassign an exercise's whole history and records onto a specific machine or cable brand in one step, or re-point just a single past session.
- New
Calorie rollover
Opt in to carry yesterday's unused, or overspent, calories into today's budget, capped at 500 either way, with a clear note under your calorie ring.
- New
Import your history from Strong or Hevy
Bring your past workouts in from a Strong or Hevy CSV export. Most exercises match automatically, and any that don't become custom exercises in one tap.
- New
In-app update prompt
Plyko now lets you know when a newer version is available in the App Store or Play Store.
- New
Monthly and yearly Wrapped recaps
A shareable recap of your month lands on your Home screen with workouts, total volume, PRs, active days and your averages, plus a year in review at the start of the year.
- New
Nutri-Score and NOVA badges on foods
Packaged foods now show a Nutri-Score (A to E) and a NOVA processing level on their detail screen, so you can judge quality at a glance.
- Improved
Form cues for every exercise
Every exercise in the catalogue now includes step-by-step form cues in all six languages.
- New
Automatic warm-up sets
One tap adds a ramp of warm-up sets building up to your working weight.
- New
Communities
Create or join private, invite-only groups around your training interests and see who else is in them.
- New
Cycle tracker
Log your period and Plyko predicts the next one from your own average cycle length. It's private and lives on your Profile.
- New
Diet phases with a weekly check-in
Pick Cut, Maintain, Lean bulk or Reverse diet and Plyko steers your calories toward that phase's weekly target. A weekly check-in shows your real vs target rate and an ETA to your goal weight.
- New
Drinks and supplements trackers
Log coffee, tea, energy drinks, soda and alcohol in one tap, with a daily caffeine bar and alcohol counted in standard drinks, and tick off your supplements each day.
- New
Import your weight from a smart scale
Pull your latest weight straight from Apple Health or Health Connect, where scales like Withings, Renpho and Garmin sync it.
- New
Log a tempo per exercise
Record a lifting tempo like 3-1-1-0 with quick presets; it shows as a chip on the exercise.
- New
Scale recipes by servings
A stepper from x0.5 to x12 scales a recipe's macros and its ingredient list together, and scales the meal you log from it too.
- New
Strength Score
A single score out of 100 on the Ranks screen sums up your big-lift strength at a glance.
- Fixed
Smarter set logging
Validating a set you didn't fill in now keeps the suggested previous values instead of logging a blank set, and tapping a greyed value fills it in ready to edit.
- New
Log food in US household and imperial units
Log foods in ounces, cups, tablespoons or as '1 egg' or '1 banana' instead of grams, and see amounts read back in your unit. It follows your kg/lbs setting.
- Improved
Blocking is now complete
Blocking someone stops them from sending you a friend request or sharing anything with you, and removes anything they'd already shared.
- Improved
Faster food logging
A Frequent foods shortcut re-logs common foods in one tap and you can copy a single past meal instead of the whole day. AI meal-plan cards are now editable, and voice logging shows an AI confidence badge.
- Improved
Social updates appear live
New friends, accepted requests and freshly shared routines now appear on their own without relaunching the app, with a badge on shared-routine links and pull-to-refresh everywhere.
- Fixed
Apple Health works again on iPhone
Plyko now shows up in the Health app and the sync toggle turns on again. It reads your steps and writes the meals, water and workouts you log back to Apple Health.
- Fixed
Buttons no longer hidden by the Android nav bar
On Android, primary buttons like Finish workout and Add meal now sit clear of the on-screen navigation bar instead of being partly hidden behind it.
- New
Share any workout as a premium story card
Turn any past workout, not just the one you just finished, into a polished shareable story card that lists every exercise and set, ready to post to Instagram or send to a friend. A preview shows exactly what you'll share before you post.
- New
Three new exercises
Added Captain's Chair Leg Raise (Weighted), Machine Back Extension and Machine Torso Rotation, each fully illustrated in the app's style.
- Improved
A rebuilt custom exercise creator
Creating your own exercise now lets you set the exact muscles it works, mark whether it can be trained one side at a time, and add your own stances that each track their own muscles and records. You can also edit any custom exercise you've made at any time.
- Design
Menus that match the app everywhere
Every remaining system pop-up menu and confirmation was replaced with the app's own menus and dialogs, so choices and confirmations now look and behave the same on iPhone and Android.
- Fixed
Captain's Chair Leg Raise no longer asks for a weight
This move is a bodyweight hold but was set up as a machine, so it prompted you to enter a weight. It's now correctly a bodyweight exercise, and existing entries are fixed automatically.
- New
Plan your training weeks in advance
Build a full multi-week program: order your weeks, place workouts or rest days on any day, then schedule it and run each session straight from the plan while it tracks your adherence, volume and PRs. Share a plan with a friend and get an optional morning heads-up telling you what's on for today.
- New
Supersets and trisets in your saved routines
You can now build a superset or triset directly into a saved routine, not just mid-workout; add a second or third exercise to any block and it groups them automatically.
- New
29 new leg, glute and calf exercises
A big leg-day expansion adds squats, lunges, pistols, Copenhagen planks, cable and machine work, Smith-machine and kettlebell lifts and more, all fully illustrated.
- New
Automatic weight suggestions and deloads (Pro)
Opt in and Plyko suggests your next working weight from your last session: nudging the load up when you hit the top of your rep range, holding when you're inside it, and easing off when you fall short. It's only a suggestion you can always override.
- New
Copy a whole day of meals
Ate the same as yesterday? The day view now has a copy button to duplicate that day's meals to today or tomorrow, keeping every food's exact numbers, with an undo if you change your mind.
- New
Form cues on every exercise
Every exercise now shows a few short form cues on its stats screen, quick reminders like 'lower the bar to mid-chest', in every supported language.
- New
Give a routine to a friend
Share any of your routines with a link that anyone can open to import a copy, or send it straight to a friend's in-app inbox.
- New
Log how hard each set felt
Turn on an effort scale (RPE or RIR) in Training settings, then tap a small chip on each working set to record how hard it was, so you can track your intensity over time.
- New
Your food scans are now remembered
Plate, fridge, label and voice scans are saved to a Recent scans list so you can re-log a past scan instantly with no extra scanning, and every scan error now offers a 'take another photo' button.
- Improved
Quality-of-life upgrades
Edit an AI-generated recipe's name and macros before saving, repeat your last workout in one tap from the Workout tab, and see how many uses you have left this month next to each AI feature. Tapping a locked feature now takes you straight to it on the upgrade screen.
- Improved
See your progress for each exercise variation
Each exercise's stats screen gains a row of variation pills (Standard plus any brand, single-side or stance version you've logged); tap one to switch its records, chart and set history to that version's own numbers.
- Fixed
Workout inputs no longer clipped on Android
Set weight and reps fields that were partly cut off on some Android phones now display fully.
- New
Pick your stance on leg presses and dips
Leg presses, hack squat and dips now offer position options such as wide or narrow, high or low foot placement, and each position tracks its own muscles worked and its own records.
- Improved
Finer-grained strength ranks
Every strength rank now splits into three divisions (III, II then I), so you can see your progress within a tier instead of waiting for one big jump.
- Improved
Muscle tags on every exercise
Each exercise row now shows a small coloured tag of the muscles it targets, in your language, so you can tell what you're training at a glance.
- New
Nothing lost when you switch phones
Your goal weight, profile and settings, 7-day meal plans and progress photos now back up to your account, so reinstalling or moving to a new phone restores them. Your profile avatar also gains a gold ring showing your level.
- New
Strength ranks and leaderboards
A new Ranks screen shows your level and your strength rank for each big lift, the full Bronze-to-Elite ladder with the weight target for your bodyweight, and a per-lift leaderboard among friends.
- New
Workouts that name themselves
Start a session without naming it and Plyko names it from what you trained, such as 'Back & Biceps', 'Leg Day' or 'Full Body', and never overrides a name you've typed yourself.
- Improved
Rest timer moves to the bottom bar
During a set's rest, the countdown now takes over the bottom bar with quick -15, +15 and skip controls.
- Fixed
Search foods now save reliably
Foods added from search no longer appear and then vanish a moment later; they're saved properly and remembered for next time. The diet-preset picker is readable again, and you can now type your goal weight on the keyboard during setup.
- New
New Pro trophy family
All the AI and premium achievements are now grouped into a new gold Pro category, with two new trophies to unlock, including a secret one for using the whole Pro toolkit.
- New
Ranks and competition
A new trophy button on the Home screen opens Ranks, where each big lift earns a strength rank from Bronze to Elite based on your estimated one-rep-max relative to your bodyweight. You also get the full tier ladder and a friends leaderboard per lift.
- Improved
Faster food search
Your saved and recent foods now appear instantly while web results fill in a moment later, instead of waiting on the network. On Android, tapping a search result now adds it on the first tap.
- Design
A head-to-toe redesign: Athletic Precision
The entire app moves to a calmer, more premium look: deep near-black surfaces so your content stands out, a fresh typeface for titles and big numbers, and champagne gold now reserved for what you earn, like PRs, streaks, trophies and ranks. Home opens on a single card headlining the calories you have left today, the workout and history screens read more clearly, and locked Pro features stay fully readable with a small gold PRO tag instead of hiding behind a padlock.
- Design
Haptic sliders and PR celebrations
Menus spring up over a deeper backdrop with a grab handle, and the calorie and macro rings get a subtle gradient. A new slider with a haptic tick per step now joins the +/- buttons when you set your height, weight, body-fat or goals, and hitting a new personal record gets a little celebration.
The first release
- New
See the calories you burned
Finishing a workout now shows an estimated calories burned, based on your actual sets and bodyweight rather than a flat guess. It is added to your day's burned total and written to Apple Health, where Plyko now also appears under Sources.
- Improved
Readable weight and reps
The set-entry boxes are now wider so long numbers stay fully visible instead of scrolling out of the little box as you type.
- Fixed
Nutrition logging reliability
Adding a food by barcode no longer occasionally fails to save or creates duplicates on a fast double-scan, and re-adding the same food keeps its recently-used count correct.
- Fixed
Remove one exercise from a superset
The exercise menu's Remove now drops just that exercise from a superset, leaving the rest in place, and removes the whole block only when it is the last exercise.
- Fixed
Rest notifications no longer pile up
A new rest's-over alert now replaces the previous one instead of stacking set after set, and they clear when you move on or finish your workout.
- Fixed
The keyboard stops covering fields
The workout-note editor and the meal-quantity field now lift above the keyboard instead of being hidden behind it.
- Improved
Easier set entry
Tap any reps, duration or cardio field to select the whole value and type over it in one go. Your previous-session numbers stay a greyed suggestion and are only used if you tap the field.
- Fixed
A cleaner finish
Sets you never completed and exercises you did nothing on are removed when you finish, so your summary, history, share card, and exercise count reflect only what you actually did.
- Fixed
Menus you can dismiss on Android
The exercise and set menus, and the photo and meal pickers, now close when you tap outside or press back, fixing a case where a menu could trap you and you could not remove an exercise mid-workout.
- Fixed
No more accidental personal records
Personal records and achievements are now decided when you tap Finish, using your final numbers, so a mistyped weight you correct before finishing never writes a bogus record.
- Fixed
Your workout timer keeps real time
Locking your phone, taking a call, or switching apps no longer freezes the session timer, which was worst on Android. It snaps back to the true elapsed time the moment you return.
- New
Apple Watch: a full standalone workout app
Start, run and finish a workout right from your wrist with no phone nearby, with live heart rate and calories, your templates and recent exercises, weight and reps via the Digital Crown, and a rest timer that buzzes your wrist. Sessions save to Apple Health and sync into your phone history.
- Improved
AI Coach can use every exercise
The coach now builds from the entire exercise catalogue, including bodyweight, functional and kettlebell moves, and gained a Kettlebell option in its setup.
- Improved
Clearer rest-timer alerts
When your rest runs out you now get a sound and haptic, an on-screen gold flash, and a notification, so you are alerted even with the app in the background or your phone locked.
- New
25 kettlebell, med-ball and HYROX exercises
A functional-training batch was added and fully illustrated, including the kettlebell goblet squat, clean and press, snatch and Turkish get-up, wall ball, sandbag lunge and carry, and the burpee broad jump.
- New
Track exercises one side at a time
A new Normal / Single-side toggle lets you log unilateral one-arm or one-leg work as its own tracked variant with separate records and charts, in both an active session and the workout builder. It combines with machine brands.
- Improved
Kettlebell is its own equipment filter
Kettlebell moves now have their own filter in the exercise picker and list, and their own choice when you create a custom exercise, just like the Dumbbell filter.
- Improved
Supersets advance in the right order
In a superset or triset, the keyboard's next now jumps to the same set number on the next exercise (A1, then B1, then C1), matching how supersets are actually performed.
- Improved
Cleaner exercise picker
Auto-generated machine-brand variants no longer clutter the picker or your Recently used list, so you only ever see base exercises.
- Improved
Pick a machine's brand while building a workout
Tagging a machine exercise with its brand, previously only possible during an active session, now works in the workout builder and in saved routines too, so branded machines keep their own records and progress everywhere.
- Design
Voice food logging shows as a Pro feature
For free users the voice-log shortcut now appears greyed with a padlock, matching the other Pro features; tapping it still opens the upgrade screen.
- New
26 new exercises
26 well-known moves were added and fully illustrated, including the Bent-Over Barbell Row, Romanian Deadlift, sled push and pull (which log load and distance), battle ropes, and weighted versions of dips, push-ups and pull-ups.
- New
Rest timer on your Android lock screen
A live rest countdown now runs in a notification while the app is in the background, so you can watch your rest without reopening the app. iPhone already had this on the lock screen and Dynamic Island.
- Improved
Accessibility improvements
The app now respects your device's Reduce Motion setting and adds screen-reader labels to the main navigation and the highest-traffic workout controls.
- Improved
Smarter exercise search
The picker now understands common shorthand, so typing rdl, ohp, pushup or pec deck finds the right exercise even when the letters are not in its name.
- Improved
Undo instead of confirm pop-ups
Deleting a food, exercise, saved meal, routine or history entry now removes it instantly with a 5-second Undo, instead of an are-you-sure dialog. It only commits once the Undo snackbar disappears.
- Improved
Foods in your language, searchable any way you type
The curated essential foods and restaurant items now display in your language everywhere they appear, and search ignores accents and plurals, so fraises, FRAISE or peche all still find the right food.
- Improved
Usernames can include a period
Your unique handle now accepts a period alongside the hyphen and underscore, so names like john.doe are valid.
- Design
Smoother profile photo menu and history buttons
The change-profile-photo menu is now a bottom sheet you can dismiss by tapping outside, and the Redo and Save-as-template buttons on past workouts gained the app's standard press animation.
- Fixed
Apple Health and Health Connect now work
Apple Health now reads your steps and active calories and saves finished workouts back to it, and Android no longer crashes when you grant health-data access.
- New
A guided tour to get you started
After setup, a short skippable walkthrough highlights the app's main features so you know where everything is from day one.
- New
Track machines by brand
Tag a machine exercise with its brand, such as Gym80, Matrix or Hammer, and your sets track as a separate variant with their own records, charts and history, so machines that feel different across gyms no longer pollute your progress.
- Improved
Fix a set without losing it
Validating a set now only starts your rest timer and keeps every field editable, so you can correct a typo a moment later. Pressing done on the keyboard jumps straight to the next set.
- Design
Refreshed sign-in and onboarding
The login and sign-up screens now show the Plyko logo and wordmark, onboarding steps slide and spring into view over a soft colour wash, and the +/- steppers repeat when you press and hold.
- Fixed
Editing a routine no longer duplicates it
Saving a routine under a name you already use now updates it in place instead of creating a second copy, and a routine a friend imported stays in sync with no doubled exercises.
- Fixed
Your onboarding setup is saved before you leave
Your profile, nutrition goals and starting weight are now saved to the cloud when you finish setup, so reinstalling restores everything even if you close the app straight away.
- New
A guided welcome tour for new users
After you finish setup, a short guided tour highlights the calorie ring and the main tabs so you know where everything is. The onboarding screens also flow with smoother animations.
- New
Log machines by brand for accurate records
Tag a machine with its brand so the same exercise at different gyms is tracked separately. Your personal records and progress charts stay accurate even when every gym's machine feels different.
- New
Calorie targets that adapt to you
Plyko learns your real energy needs from what you log and how your weight trends, then fine-tunes your daily calorie target and explains the reasoning in an Insights card.
- New
Glance at your workout on Apple Watch
See your in-progress workout on your Apple Watch, mirrored from your phone and kept in sync on your wrist so you can check your sets without reaching for your phone.
- New
Today's calories and streak on your home screen
Add a home-screen widget to keep today's calories and your current workout streak one glance away, without even opening the app.
- New
Watch a demo video for any exercise
Not sure how a movement is performed? Tap Watch demo on any exercise to see it done right before you start your set.
- Improved
More diet presets: Mediterranean, Paleo, 16:8
Added Mediterranean, Paleo and 16:8 intermittent-fasting presets so you can set up your calorie and macro goals to match your eating style faster.
- New
Sign in with Apple
iPhone users can now create an account and sign in with their Apple ID in a single tap, with no password to remember.
- New
AI food tools: scan your plate, speak a meal, get recipes
Snap a photo of your plate to estimate its calories and macros, say what you ate to log it hands-free, or generate recipes on demand, all powered by AI.
- New
Automatic cloud backup across your devices
Your workouts, nutrition, records and progress are safely backed up to the cloud and restored automatically when you sign in on a new phone.
- New
Log every workout from a big illustrated library
Build gym or circuit workouts from a library of around 200 illustrated exercises, then log every set, rep and weight. Rest timers, supersets, warm-up sets and automatic personal-record detection are all built in.
- New
One-tap water and step tracking
Log water and daily steps with quick one-tap buttons, set your own goals, and review your trends by week and month.
- New
Track calories and macros with search and barcode scan
Set a calorie and macro goal, then log food by searching a huge database or scanning a barcode. A calorie ring and macro bars show exactly where you stand across breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
- New
Track weight, measurements, photos and records
Chart your body weight and body fat, record eight body measurements, save side-by-side progress photos, and watch your personal records climb over time.
- New
Your whole day on one home dashboard
See your day at a glance the moment you open the app: calories remaining, macros, each meal, steps and water, all on one screen.
- New
AI meal plans and one-tap grocery lists
Generate a full seven-day meal plan with an automatic grocery list, or import any recipe just by pasting its web link.
- New
Cardio tracking and workout streaks
Log cardio movements with distance, pace and duration, and keep a daily workout streak going to stay motivated.
- New
Circuit training with a hands-free runner
Build circuit workouts and run them hands-free with a guided timer: timed or rep-based rounds, audio cues, a round counter and a big work-and-rest display.
